Simple Remote Desktop Connection in Windows

Remote Desktop Connection lets you to connect and access a computer running Windows from another computer. Access all of your programs, files, and network resources of the remote computer, as you are sitting in front of your computer. Before connecting Remote Desktop, first we should enable it. By default Remote Desktop is disabled in windows.

How to Configure Remote Desktop

First we should enable or configure Remote Desktop in the system to which we want to connect.

STEP 1:
Go to Star >> Computer, right click Properties.



STEP 2:

Click Remote settings >> Remote tab >> and select Remote Assistance connection to this computer.


STEP 3:
Select – Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (Less secure).


STEP 4:
Apply the settings and click OK.

How to Make Remote Desktop Connection

STEP 1:
Go to Star >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Remote Desktop Connection


STEP 2:
Enter the IP address and go to OPTIONS and enter the User name of the remote system.


STEP 3:
Now click Connect to make a Remote Desktop Connection and enter the password of the remote system.
